368 Music Group is an independent label founded by Jive Recording artist Raheem DeVaughn and his partner, A&R/Talent Manager Andre “The Mayor” Hopson. DeVaughn and Hopson started the label in an effort to create a platform for talented artists and the unique sound of the Washington DC metropolitan area. While it is well known that New York City, Atlanta and Los Angeles are the focal points of the entertainment industry, they’re seeking to begin that same type of movement right here in our nation’s capital. 368 Music Group’s foundation is built on grassroots initiatives that not only involve the music industry, but the community as a whole; as 368 Music Group proudly represents the DMV (DC, Maryland and Virginia) area.
Mission Statement
Our mission at 368 Music Group is to bring the music industry to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. We work relentlessly to provide quality timeless music to the hip hop community and beyond. We see ourselves as more than just a label; but a brand the entire community will take ownership of. Never allowing success to put us in a place of comfort; but to provide ammunition to propel ourselves further as a label and a brand.
