Jive Recording Artist Raheem DeVaughn recently participated in Safeway’s 10th Annual “Feast of Sharing” held at the Washington Convention Center. Over 5,000 individuals were provided with a hot meal, clothing, employment opportunities as well as health screenings.  Other special guests included Donnie Simpson, Dominique Dawes, Willie Jolley and 368 Music Group’s Phil Ade.

 Michael Vick, who was released for prison in May has landed an 8 part television series on BET. It is supposed to be a documentary…or better yet a “docu-series”  and will focus on his return to the field with the Philadelphia Eagles. The show will tentatively be called “The Michael Vick Project”.

The 1st Annual WEEN Awards (Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network) held in Washington, DC over this past weekend was a great success. The event honored Vivica A. Foxx, Hill Harper, Malinda Williams, Shanti Das and Maria Davis. The event was sponsored by BET, Anheuser-Busch and McDonalds.

Chair and WEEN Founder Valeisha Butterfield(Pictured below to the far left) , formerly of Russell Simmons Hip Hop Summit Action Network announced that she was recently appointed as the Deputy Director of Public Affairs for the Obama Administration.

Ok so ummm, after only a few months of dating, Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are alledgedly getting married this Sunday. Word is that Khloe refuses to sign a pre nup and Lamar is actually ok with that!!! *Side Eye*

I think it’s safe to say that every woman in the world would like to take Khloe’s  ”How to catch a balla & get him to marry you without a pre nup” lessons!!  I’m just sayin’
