by Lizee on May.13, 2010, under Uncategorized

Well here it is… has it really been a year? You now, When I first got in to music I did it purely for the fun and excitement of it. As the seasons came an went my hobby transformed into a full on career. The “Odd Seasons” series was a way for me to be creative for no reason other that creativity. That’s why they’ve been free releases. In order to remind my self why I do music, I have to allow some of my works to be created and released for well…. I hate to say it but…. “The Love”— Now That the “Odd Seasons” are complete I’ll be pressing them on vinyl in a lovely box set that will contain all four seasons. So yes, the time will come when you’ll be able to support and purchase. Enough with this! ODD SPRING!!! —ODDISEE

DMV Spotlight: Kelow
by Lizee on Apr.15, 2010, under Uncategorized

project from KELOW entitled “Colored Pencils.” As always, KELOW goes full throttle at creating her own lane, with fellow “electric-hop” tastemakers A.I. Love You extending a major hand in executive production. In an industry made of dull followers & posers, the colorfulKELOW is anything but average, unafraid to push the envelope further and further, song after song. Although still in the making, KELOW decided to release three songs from the upcoming project to give listeners an idea of just what she has in store in the near future. Whether your getting ready to go out for the night or just in need of goodmusic to listen to, KELOW will make a perfect addition to your ipod. Take a listen and let me know what u think. Her project will be totally free, so you’ve got nothing to lose – and everything to gain. Hope all is well. Enjoii. ^_^

Historical Society of Washington, DC welcomes JUDAH to bring DMV Hip-Hop Documentary
by Lizee on Apr.15, 2010, under Events

(Washington, DC) – After a monumental photo shoot in front of theLincoln Theatre, the still-life portrait of the DMV’s (DC, Maryland, Virginia) hip-hop generation comes to life.
On Saturday April 17th, popular DC-producer JUDAH partnered with the Historical Society of Washington, DC (in conjunction with SolSource DC/Hip Hop Cinema Cafe) to bring the district, the first of its kind, an account of the region’s own hip-hop history of the last decade and its position in the music industry. Directed by Dre of ABB Video and Sophia “The Historian” Nelson of Ordinary People Books, the collaboration with JUDAH sheds light on the journey for exposure and collectivity in rap music for DMV hip-hop artists.

JUDAH’s “Choose Wisely”
by Lizee on Mar.24, 2010, under Music

Respected and noted as one of the most recognized producers from the DC area, JUDAH releases #theART video “Choose Wisely.” With an unsuspecting plot and narration done solely by beats selected from the Amber Rose Instrumentals which gathered massive popularity since its drop in January, JUDAH presents listeners with a “strange” frame for the audible visual, giving true definition to amplified artistic design in music.

Stay hip as collected lyrics from artist around the country will be shared over the Amber Rose Instrumentals. Presented by Kevin Nottingham and DubMD, mix tape king of the UK!

This is the First Song off our new project entitled “Deuce Day World” We will officially release the single with a b side track on April 1st. lyrics See I might be the only one that doesn’t see why your hurt
See I might be the only one that sees what your worth
Do you Respect me
That Makes you LuckyShe picked me up on the coldest winter day
Further down that river, listening to Morning View
And since that day I’ve been searching for her clone
One who sees in Lennon Imagine what I do
You see I am always Thinking about you
And just like you told me I’m Nothing without you— Mandatory
The 368 Gets 20-30!
by Lizee on Feb.05, 2010, under Uncategorized
BUURR!!
….No, not Gucci Mane…THE WEATHER MAN!!
The 368 area is expecting to get blanketed by 20-30 inches of snow… Not to good at math? Thats anywhere between 2 – 2 1/2 ft. …..Thats quite a lot if you ask me. Now multiply that by 20-35mph winds and a few hundred thousand panicked Washingtonians flooding every Safeway & Blockbuster in their neighborhood and I say we got a classic Blizzard of ’96 on our hands! *Memories*
Well, here are the updates! https://textalert.ema.dc.gov/latest.php
National Weather Service has upgraded the Winter Storm Warning to a Blizzard Warning, beginning at 10PM tonight, and continuing until 10PM tomorrow. The Winter Storm Warning will remain in effect until 10PM. A Blizzard Warning means wind gusts will exceed 35 mph, snow is likely to be extremely heavy, and visibility will be reduced below 1/4 mile. Please make sure to secure all loose objects on your property. This extremely dangerous storm is expected to produce record snowfall for the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Travel conditions tonight will be extremely hazardous and life-threatening, and all citizens are urged to remain indoors. — ALERT DC

Please lay down salt! No one likes to fall in the snow, it’s only courteous!
